Documentation site — runwayos.io/docs#
Runway now has proper docs. 22 pages covering everything from your first flight to billing:
- Getting started — Introduction, Quickstart, Core concepts, and a Vocabulary page that maps every Runway name to the EOS® term you may already use.
- The weekly flight — running a flight, and how the agenda and its timers work (including custom gates).
- Meeting sections — a page each for My Terminal, Control Tower, Flight Path, Announcements, To-Dos, Land the Plane and Baggage Claim.
- Beyond the meeting — Air Traffic Control, Flight Deck, Flight Logs and the Dashboard.
- Administration — crews and people, organization settings, plans and billing.
- Data and tools — importing your existing data, and the Quick Add browser extension.
Search the docs with the magnifying glass or ⌘K / Ctrl+K. Every page has a sidebar, a table of contents, and previous/next links, and there's a "Docs" link in the footer of every page on the site.
One metric on several scorecards#
A number that two crews both watch — revenue, safety incidents, a shared pipeline — used to be entered twice, and the two copies drifted apart.
Now open any Control Tower row and use Also shown on to pick the other crews it should appear on. It stays a single row: one history, one value. Whoever updates it in one crew's Control Tower updates it for all of them.
- Shared rows show a small people icon on the scorecard; hover it to see which other crews they're on.
- Deleting a shared row now warns you that it comes off the other crews' scorecards too — and, as always, it goes to the trash rather than disappearing.
- A row shared onto your board still belongs to the crew that created it, so opening it here won't move it out from under them.
Duplicate a to-do for someone else#
Open a to-do and click Duplicate for to hand the same task to another person on the crew. It copies the task, notes, due date and priority, puts their name on it, and starts it fresh at not-done. The picker stays open, so one to-do can go to several people in a row.
Each copy is that person's own — they can finish or drop theirs without touching yours. A private to-do duplicates private; a crew's stays with the crew.
Segue is now shared across the crew#
When the captain shuffles the icebreaker question, everyone on the flight sees the same question on their own screen, and it's still there if someone rejoins mid-meeting. The question bank has also grown by 20 new questions.
Smaller fixes and polish#
- Ending a flight now asks with a proper in-app confirmation ("End & Save" / "Keep Going") instead of the browser's grey pop-up.
- Gate headings no longer show a slanted corner where the accent bar meets the underline.
- In-page links on the public site (Features, Beta, and links between pages) now glide to the section instead of jumping, stop clear of the sticky header, and briefly highlight where you landed. Respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
- New metrics are now filed under the correct crew reliably, and to-dos created from another to-do stay with the crew they came from rather than wherever you happen to be standing.
